Some of the unused process found in my PC. The following information was retrieved from ProcessLibrary.com.
Under msconfig.exe
- ATKOSD.exe (5.5MB): is a process installed alongside ASUS Motherboards and provides additional configuration options for these devices. This program is a non-essential process, but should not be terminated unless suspected to be causing problems.
- COCImanager.exe (7.9MB): cocimanager.exe is a Camera Controller from Logitech Inc. belonging to Logitech Camera Control Interface
- Communications_Helper.exe (11MB): s a Communications Manager from Logitech Inc. belonging to Logitech
- conime.exe (3.5MB): conime.exe is a process which is registered as the BFGhost 1.0 Remote administration backdoor tool. This backdoor application can allow attackers to access your computer, stealing passwords and personal data. This process is a security risk and should be removed from your system. Note! If your system is using a non western language this can be a legitimate entry. DISABLE AND REMOVE conime.exe IMMEDIATELY. This process is most likely a virus or trojan.

- dna.exe (7.? MB): related to torrent. see here.
- Igxfxpers.exe (4.0MB, under testing of removing this?????): igfxpers.exe is a process installed alongside NVidia graphics cards and provides additional configuration options for these devices. This program is a non-essential process, but should not be terminated unless suspected to be causing problems.
- Lvcomsx.exe (5.3MB): lvcomsx.exe is installed alongside Logitech Multimedia webcam devices and provides extra functionality for these products. This program is a non-essential process, but should not be terminated unless suspected to be causing problems.
- MDM.exe (3.7MB): mdm.exe is associated with Microsoft Windows process debugging system. It allows the user to debug Internet Explorer errors by using a script interface tool. This is a non-essential process. Disabling or enabling it is down to user preference.
Under msconfig.exe
- imjpmig.exe: imjpmig.exe belongs to the Microsoft Input Method Editor. It is used to simplify the input of Asian characters in the Microsoft Office suite.
- tintlcfg.exe is a New Phonetic IME Property dialog from Microsoft Corp. belonging to New Phonetic IME Property dialog
- igfxtray.exe (testing this???): is a process which allows you to access the Intel Graphics configuration and diagnostic application for the Intel 810 series graphics chipset. This program is a non-essential system process, and is installed for ease of use via the desktop tray.
